The COVID-19 pandemic is still an important issue and social distancing and hand hygiene are vital in assisting to control it. This responsibility rests with us all in order to protect those more vulnerable to infection. Staying home and being tested if you have any respiratory symptoms is essential.
The Government is concerned that people may have neglected their general health during the pandemic and has impressed upon health practitioners the need to encourage their patients to return their focus to the care of their general and mental health.
Many of our Specialists will continue to offer in room consultations and are able to do so in a safe controlled environment.
A number of our Specialists will only be providing their quality care via Telehealth, particularly during the current six week lock-down period. Each Specialist and their immediate family have different risk factors and circumstances that need to be considered when this personal decision is made. The decision of each Specialist is not made lightly and is made with the best interests of our patients, staff and community in mind. We appreciate your understanding and patience during these uncertain times. Our infection control practices are exemplary, and we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our clinic. It is our top priority to protect our patients and staff, keeping our practice clean and well sanitised. Enhanced cleaning, sanitisation and hygiene measures are regularly taken throughout the clinic and in between consultations.
We have rearranged our waiting room to help maintain social distancing and have limited the number of Practitioners and patients in attendance at any one time. Please try to avoid arriving particularly early for your appointment and only bring along others when necessary.
We ask that all patients wear the mask provided and make use of the hand sanitiser or hand washing facilities that are available on entering and exiting the clinic.

The Department of Health has recently released the COVIDSafe app. This app speeds up contacting people exposed to COVID-19. This helps support and protect you, your loved ones and our community. Our Practitioners fully support the use of COVID-Safe.
