I am a consultant gynaecologist specialising in IVF and other fertility treatments, reproductive endocrinology and fertility preservation. I believe strongly that my relationship with my patients should not just be built on evidence-based-medicine, but also on a holistic understanding of the individual.
I graduated from Monash University Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours in 2002, where I was awarded the Robert Power Scholarship in Surgery at the Alfred Hospital in my final year. After my surgical residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, I commenced specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, gaining experience in the following six years from hospitals in both Victoria and New South Wales.
I currently hold a fellowship as a specialist from Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as well as a post graduate degree in Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of NSW.
Since 2010, I have been working at the Reproductive Services Unit in Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital where I trained exclusively in the subspecialty field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. I am now a consulting specialist for the unit. I’m also an accredited specialist at Melbourne IVF.
I am available for consultation at Medical Specialists on Collins each Thursday.
